Whether you believe in Deity/God, Intelligent Design, Simulation Hypothesis, or Order-In-Chaos, it makes you a believer. We're all believers. Humans NEED beliefs to function. And that's okay.

We want to cling to certainty to maintain sanity. But isn't it saner to be certain about a more refined view? There's no better way to refine your view than to open your mind to a differing viewpoint. It would require you to loosen your hold on certainty for a bit. Worth it.

In desperation dumb mistakes are made. Whether it's persuit of women or wealth, if you are desperate you won't get it. If you really want something desperately, try not being desperate about it if you want to have a shot at getting it.
