How ironic it is that those who are deluded that life is meaningful are bent on ruining it for everyone and those who are aware of the absurdity and meaninglessness of existence are trying to save the world!

I think the major reason why it is difficult to be virtuous, especially for men, is because virtuousness is not a good currency in the sexual market that life fundamentally is.

Lack of choices, not love per se, is the secret of lasting marriage. A society that celebrates freedom and choices is bound to see the decline of marriage and family.
