Marriage is the best solution available to the human condition. For it provides everything humans crave; from sex to security to meaning in life.

True love, unlike romantic love, comes at a huge psychological cost of defying the Universe (natural forces) for greater ''human goals'' (family and life-long companionship). Only the best and the greatest human beings can achieve it.

Whatever true love is, it sure is not about sex and/or romance.

Proponents of Humanism (in place of Religion) seem to assume the masses to be highly intelligent. Religion provides a single moral center of gravity (which is essential for social order) which i doubt any other God-less system can achieve.

There's a thrill even in gazing at the sky. Why people have to go skydiving to feel ''life'' is beyond me. I doubt the claim that it removes the fear of death and enables one ''live more'' after that experience. That sounds like a new age bullshit.

Money can't buy happiness. But a rich man can at least do charity and derive happiness thus. A poor man can't even do that. Money matters.

Advisably, one should not make any important decision of life when under the effect of (romantic) love. The tragedy is, we are tempted by nature to make the most important decision of life in that state.

Coming to terms with imperfection of the existence is the highest wisdom, and the pinnacle of self-development.
